By the end of WWII the old town of Malbork was almost completely destroyed. The old town was never rebuilt and in its place a housing estate was built in the 1960s. Housing estates are uniform buildings which may have apartments for rent and are usually considered social housing. Today some areas of Malbork have higher end apartments for rent which may be found online on websites similar to the U.S. ApartmentGuide.com site.
